Crimson Peak is uitgekomen op 16 oktober 2015. Het is een Amerikaanse horrorfilm geschreven door Guillermo del Toro en Matthew Robbins en geregiseerd door del Toro. De rollen worden gespeeld door Mia Wasikowska (Edith Cushing), Tom Hiddleston (sir Thomas Sharpe), Jessica Chastain (lady Lucille Sharpe), Charlie Hunnam (Dr. Alan McMichael), Jim Beaver (Carter Cushing), Burn Gorman (Mr. Holly), Leslie Hope (Ms. McMichael), Sofia Wells (young Edith Cushing) en Dough Jones en Javier Botet als geesten.
